About Oliver
I have a background in realistic representational art and trained at the Barcelona Academy of Art, which emphasises 19th-century academic drawing and painting techniques. I then completed my undergraduate in Animation Production at the Arts University Bournemouth, specialising in 2D hand-drawn animation and background painting.
I have participated in various workshops and online courses to keep expanding my artistic knowledge and I really enjoy passing this information on to other students.

There are a lot of different ways to learn depending on the goals of each student, so the content of the lessons will be flexible. Typically though, I will aim to cover the fundamentals of drawing and painting—like light, form, gesture and perspective, as these skills translate across mediums and provide a good foundation. Improving at art is a long process, and I will try to introduce new concepts gradually to help students progress.
