About Malavika
In our tradition, dance has always been considered divine, from the cosmic dance of Lord Shiva to the expressive storytelling of classical forms. I am a 22-year-old passionate dancer who never misses an opportunity to dance, and for me it is a source of peace and joy.
Even with a full-time 9–5 job, I always find time to practice because dance is an inseparable part of my life. Teaching allows me to share this passion with others and guide students in discovering the beauty and discipline of classical dance. Seeing students grow and gain confidence through dance makes this journey truly meaningful.

My classes begin with warm-up and stretching exercises to prepare the body and improve flexibility. Students are first introduced to basic mudras and adavus, focusing on building strong fundamentals, posture, and rhythm.
Once the basics are well established, we gradually move to padams and more expressive pieces. Based on the student’s interest, they can then choose to continue with Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam, or Kuchipudi varnam.
Each class includes revision of the previous lesson before moving on to new steps, ensuring steady progress and confidence in learning. The classes are beginner-friendly and suitable for all levels, with guidance tailored to each student’s pace and interest
