I play music since I was 5 and it's my biggest life passion. My goal is to help everyone to reveal their full potential to perform, create and write music in the best way they desire.
I always make sure that students' goals and expectations are completed with the lessons plan, that I prepare well in advance.
We generally start our music journey simple with an introduction to an instrument. My teaching based in an academic way but with a lot of different fun games and exercises in between to help muscles memory and ear training developed gradually and naturally. I always include cross disciplines in my lessons, such as music theory, singing, improvisation, the history of musicians and compositions.
I am consistently follow my students' requests and adjust lessons flow accordingly.
I personally believe that everyone should learn music as it has a great impact on mental and physical health, that has been scientifically proven.
I have 10 Years of experience as a private tutor and 3 years in a public school. I teach kids and adults of any age and abilities. I helped over 50 people to achieve their dream to play and create music.
I've been a musician almost 25 years of my life.
I started to learn music in Russia at the age of 5 and studied in the music school that main speciality was to prepare kids for a professional music career.
I went to Moscow to learn music performance at Ippolitov-Ivanov Moscow State Music Pedagogical Institute and graduated in 2012 with qualifications as a teacher and chamber/orchestra musician. Then I continued my studies at Moscow State University of Culture and Art. I graduated in 2017 and obtained Masters degree with a distinction. My qualification included solo performance and contemporary music theory. I am qualified piano, flute and music theory tutor.
I started to teach my first students in a public school back in 2009 and worked there for 3 years under a supervision of my flute teacher. At the same time I decided to work for as a freelancer and in 2010 started my journey as a private tutor. I taught kids and adults, created home concerts and helped with exams in schools and colleges. With some of my students we still keep in touch as friends.
As well as teaching my passion was to perform. I started to work as a sessional musician in a Moscow Conservatoire Opera Studio and joined a few orchestras later. I had a great honour to work in a Governor's music theatre with some of the outstanding musicians. Together we performed a lot of fantastic shows and concerts and I always will be grateful for that experience.
I worked as a first flute in the Ministry of Defence Orchestra and Moscow Council orchestra. We played in various locations in Russia and made a few recordings.
Not only classical, but modern music took my interest as well. I played in a few bands and attended a lot of jazz improv evenings.
Moving to the UK changed my life significantly. But I am still focusing on what I love and what I want to do.
I continued teaching here, giving face-to-face and online lessons. I still perform and do some studio recordings. I am very grateful to dedicate my life to music.
