About Harper
I studied my GCSEs and A Levels independently through Oxford Open Learning and later as a fast-track student at Pembrokeshire College. The autodidactic nature of my education honed my ability to source relevant material and supplement standard curricula to deliver outstanding performance in examinations and coursework. Studying in the highly individualised tutorial system at Oxford, combined with my experience living and studying Spanish in Madrid and writing for multiple publications (including the New Statesman), has given me much to impart in the way of organisation, time management, effective pedagogical technique and academic style (language, form and structure).

My lessons would be tailored following a discussion of students' prior attainment in the subjects, achievement objectives both long term and short term, and learning preferences. I am also happy to mentor students in areas such as organisation, time management and revision/exam technique. I would like to coach students to work to the best of their ability, whilst also instilling confidence and enthusiasm for the subjects.
