About Amelia
I am a student who has an 8 in GCSE Maths, and am doing Further Maths. I have tutored before (KS3 Maths, and am carrying them on through GCSE). They say I am clear in my explanations, patient, and fun! They have said I explained concepts "better than their teacher!"

My teaching method is to consolidate any knowledge from Maths lessons at school that week, or to prepare for upcoming examinations.
I will identify gaps in knowledge first, and then explain how to do these types of questions.
Given appropriate time, I will have made comprehensive notes for the student that include step-by-step instructions for how to tackle the problem, and suitable questions to test that they have understood the lesson.
I try to keep the lessons encouraging and fun as I believe this is the best way to keep the student focused and motivated.
