About Robyn
Psychology is an interesting subject, but can be overwhelming. I remember first learning the subject at A-level and feeling as though no matter how much I listened and took notes during the lessons, my homework did not reflect that. It took me a good year to fully understand what was expected of me for exams and to grasp the amount of information the subject covers. I aim to inspire confidence that it can be done, in an environment that is safe and non-judgemental. I aim to deliver lessons that are professional but welcoming to support every student in their learning.

My teaching approach is very much student-led and supportive. I use a range of techniques to try and help each student understand content and be able to resourcefully use skills towards their learning. Psychology is a very broad subject and can be approached in many different ways, therefore, my methodology is to motivate each student to find their way of learning and become independent thinkers. I have a first-class honours degree in Clinical Psychology and am undertaking a Master's. I also have past experience of tutoring students through their studies with a wide range of subjects and often held psychology revision sessions with fellow students during my A-levels and degree. Typical length of lessons range between 45-60 minutes, but this can be negotiated. Lessons are for GCSE and A-level students.
