I’ve learned how people learn from many different angles — in the classroom, through sports, and by teaching and leading others.
I was valedictorian in high school and completed Cambridge A Levels with three As, so I understand academic pressure and how important clear foundations are. At the same time, my background in competitive sports taught me patience, discipline, and how to adapt explanations when something isn’t clicking right away. Coaching and training environments showed me that not everyone learns the same way — some need to see it, some need to try it, and others need it explained step by step.
That approach carries into how I teach coding. I focus on understanding, not rushing. I take time to explain ideas in a way that matches how the student thinks, whether that means using examples, visual breakdowns, or hands-on practice.
My goal is to help students see coding as something structured and logical, not overwhelming.
