About Bailey
I recently graduated from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln with a degree in Biological Sciences and minors in Chemistry and Biochemistry. Since graduating I have been working in the industry as a chemist for Zoetis where I help develop medicine for pets and animals. I have been a chemistry TA and tutor for 4 years and continue to tutor students in my free time. I enjoy teaching chemistry because I myself am passionate about the subject and I enjoy taking the stress off of students who come to me with little hope of passing their class and end up doing better than they ever thought they would.

A typical session with me involves talking about what concepts you are struggling with, what your goals are, and how you learn the best. I don't have a set teaching plan because it differs for every student. With the number of students I have helped over the past 4 years I can tailor a teaching plan that is specific to you. What sets me apart from other chemistry tutors is not only my experience but my ability to relate to all of my students. I have been a TA for one of the best general chemistry professors in the country and who is publishing a chemistry textbook in the upcoming year. I have a great education in not only chemistry but also how to teach it to someone. One of the problems with typical chemistry courses is that teachers can teach everyone and this causes problems for many students. I can teach high school chemistry or college chemistry.
