About Mark
I am a University of Florida graduate (1989 B.S. degree in advertising and a business area minor) seeking to teach a small number of students that have intermediate English skills. English and music are the two international languages that I speak.
Through volunteer work, I have earned decades of advanced English editing experience and will help students speak English and/or music fluently. I will be working remotely from home in Jacksonville, FL USA.
Sometimes I have a little difficulty understanding heavy foreign accents, however, I become acclimated in time and would strive to teach accent reduction
I am not as qualified as an English professor but I do possess professional experience and the patience required to teach intermediate-level students in a typical or persuasive manner. and I expect to learn some of the foreign languages during the teaching process.

Lessons begin with learning specific important words such as please, thank you, goodnight, and phrases like where is the bathroom, do you have a menu.
I will allow students to ask frequent questions that will be answered promptly (and probably in different phrases that answer the question) to the best of my ability.
On-the-job training is needed to teach me how to write and execute lesson plans. I have the tendency of working in a flexible, spontaneous manner that allows much feedback from my students.
