About Vasavi
Hello! My name is Vasavi (I also go by V) and I am a senior in college majoring in biology. I have always been passionate about science, specifically biology and chemistry, and I love being able to share my passion with others by helping them understand these concepts through teaching. I have also tutored college freshmen taking general chemistry 1 for a year, and I have gained considerable experience in how to approach students struggling with the material. I understand that everyone approaches and understands these subjects differently, so I have learned to adapt to their needs and go at their pace, breaking down difficult concepts in an easier way to grasp. I believe everyone has the potential to do well in this course and walk out with a better understanding of the concepts because I have seen it countless times with every student I have worked with! Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy being able to meet new people and spend time talking with them! I look forward to meeting you and hope to help you achieve success!

I am a tutor mainly interested in teaching students general chemistry 1 for high school and college levels. My teaching methods involve reviewing 24 modules that each delve into a specific lesson within the course, and also providing practice problems to ensure a solid grasp of the concepts taught. My lesson plan is flexible and can vary depending on the students' needs and level of understanding. Furthermore, my past experiences in tutoring have sharpened my skills such as communication and patience to ensure I always provide the best quality teaching methods.
