About Chandra
Hi!! My name is Chandra, I grew up in Illinois and have lived in New York City for the last five years. I am very passionate about math and music and am currently an R&B/soul singer in Brooklyn and recently graduated from Columbia with a degree in Applied Math and a minor in Music. I love teaching and am happy to teach elementary to high school students. Teaching for me is a way to give back to all the mentors that have inspired me since I was young.

Friendly and flexible scheduling. Diagnostic first lesson to assess problem areas and areas of interest, discussing resources or books to source from. Lesson plans include some review in class, answering any questions, and practice assignments for take home dependent on subject. I teach a broad range, from violin to singing to math.
