About Jon
Hello! My name is Jon, and teaching is not only a job for me, but one of my biggest life passions. After graduating with honors and a double major in Media and Cultural Studies and French and Francophone Studies, I went on to earn my Master's in Fine Arts in Screenwriting and Directing from Columbia University in New York. As somebody who has both written dissertation-length research papers as well as feature-length screenplays, I have a unique perspective that I bring into the classroom.
My teaching style can best be described as direct, empathetic, and engaging. I look forward to working with students of all ages, skill levels, and neurodivergencies.
