About Subha
B.Com & M.Com graduate with experience teaching children and adults. As a mother of two, I bring years of hands-on experience in guiding children through their education with patience, discipline and care.
I offer personalized lessons in Hindi, Malayalam and Indian cooking, including authentic Kerala, South Indian and North Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian cooking.

# My Teaching Approach
I believe the best teaching begins with understanding the student. Every child learns differently, so I adapt my teaching to their age, level, personality and learning pace. My approach is patient, encouraging and practical, helping students understand concepts clearly rather than simply memorizing them.
# My Teaching Method & Techniques
I use simple explanations, real-life examples, repetition, conversation and practical exercises to make every lesson engaging and easy to understand. I encourage students to ask questions freely and learn without fear of making mistakes. I can explain concepts in Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi or English, depending on what makes the student most comfortable.
For language lessons, I focus on vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, everyday conversation and building the confidence to actually use the language.
For cooking lessons, I teach practical Indian cooking step-by-step, including Kerala-style, South Indian and North Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. I focus on understanding ingredients, techniques, flavors and timing so students can confidently recreate the dishes themselves.
# A Typical Lesson
I begin by understanding the student's current level and what they want to achieve. We then work through the lesson step-by-step, with clear explanations followed by practice. I observe where the student is struggling, adjust my approach accordingly and finish by reviewing what was learned and what can be practiced before the next lesson.
# What Sets Me Apart
I am not only a tutor but also a mother who has personally guided two children throughout their schooling. This experience has taught me the importance of patience, encouragement, discipline and understanding each child's individual needs.
My goal is not simply to complete a lesson. I want my students to leave each class feeling that they have genuinely learned something, gained confidence and are capable of doing it themselves.
