About Graeme
I'm Graeme Elliott, I created F.Oh.Oh.D to try and help people learn new things about food as well as realise that cooking can be simple, quick and most importantly cheaper and healthier.
After going back to college to improve my skills and learning as much as I can from other people and places, I've gathered knowledge to allow me to be free with food. I now research food constantly to keep on learning.
As well as my level 3 NVQ in professional cookery, I have a level 3 award in training and education and love learning and sharing knowledge. Though the experiences are mainly created around adults, I am DBS checked for working with younger learners and adapt what I do to engage with them.
I've previously worked in Events and Marketing, Multimedia Design/Production and Music, so I love being creative.
My end goal is not to show you how to cook a meal, its to help you feel confident with food and the ingredients you use on a regular basis. All of my experiences at their core are built on the basics and use only things you would have already or are easily available from anywhere. Don't like something or never want to use it, then we change it up to what you do like. You do all the making, cooking, eating and learning, so you walk away excited to keep cooking.

Come and experience your food. Whether you are learning anew or looking to get better, there's something for everyone to enjoy, on your own or with friends.
When you come to an experience, you won't just be watching me cook and taking notes, you will be hands on and doing everything. The peak of your learning occurs when you actively participate, and at F.Oh.Oh.D, all experiences are based on the principle of creating while understanding why.
We will not follow a specific recipe for you to take away, you will learn a skill for you to remember and adapt.
Each experience; although has an outline, will be designed around you to make sure you are taking away what you want to know.
All Experiences take place at my house in Hinckley, unless arranged otherwise.
The experience you book though can be just for you, or for a group. The cost is the same, £60 for the first person and any extra people are £30 each.
There is enough off-road parking for 3 cars and more on the road if needed.
Experiences start from 9.30 and end around 13.00 though can go over if you need more time.
Evening experiences start at 19.00 and end at 21.30

Experiences usually run from 9.30 - 13.30 or 19.30 - 21.30 : Costing £100 for 1:1 or £60 per person, for groups of 2-5.
Cooking lessons are £40 for 1.5 hours
