About Paul
I'm a natural light and naturalistic commercial photographer with 15 years of experience with clients from across the UK, and a photographic artist with awards for my work from Arts Council England and a commission from The National Trust. My work, both commercial and artistic, is based on my values of supporting the environment and my community. In addition to digital photography, I explore alternative photography through anthotypes, cyanotypes and lumen prints, as well as using film photography in my creative work. I run workshops in photography and alternative photography for teenagers and for adults that connect people to the natural world around them.

People who learn best are the people who enjoy what they're doing. I help GCSE and A-Level students uncover the creative connection that personalises their photography coursework and exam work in order to engage them and spark their enjoyment of photography. I have taught photography to Year 10 students, and help teach photography to Year 11, 12 and 13 students in Worcestershire. Tutoring lessons last no more than 1 hour so as to keep it fresh and engaging. We'll examine your work to date, including research, writing, and analysis as well as your photographs, and explore ways of creating a coherently themed project, with photographic ideas for exploration and development, and supportive and constructive feedback.
