As a successful company director I structure my lessons in way that candidates at all levels can go away with an understanding of the sales process, how to identify your client base, speaking to decision makers, understanding your market and closing deals.
My approach is firm but fair.
As a teacher/ tutor I will educate you in a way that breaks down each subject enabling you to approach sales in a methodical and systematic way.
I am a company director that has over 14 years within senior sales capacities. I have trained some of the Souths most successful recruitment consultants who have gone on to open multi million pound turnover business. I have trained over 50 sales staff most of whom have gone on to be successful.

Over 14 years I have built two separate databases with clients at SME and international level.
I have personally secured user agreements with international market leaders and have gone on to successfully maintain these relationships.

I was given the opportunity to join a leading recruitment company in the Southampton area.
At the time although they were an established company they did not have a division that matched my prior background and so was effectively offered a start up opportunity.
I started with no database, no clients, no candidates, a telephone and one jobsite. Within 6 weeks I had secured £26,000 of sales.
I have built a company that operates with high standards and professionalism.
We offer both contract and permanent staffing solutions to companies across the UK within the engineering sector.
We supply candidates across all disciplines from administration thought to senior appointments.
We offer a professional targeted approach with a high level of customer service, constantly liaising with our clients to make sure their needs are met.
Despite being a company director I still lead by example and actively run a 360 desk, currently I am still the highest biller in the company and continue to build new industries/ sectors.

I began my career in sales with a small recruitment company in the Fareham area.
I knew nothing about sales when I started. I was given a cold desk to start from with no leads, no experience and asked to make money.
I took to the challenge and quickly established relationships with clients and candidates alike.
In my first year I had built several industries the company had not previously worked within which reamin major revenue streams to this day.
I established secure relationships with clients from SME level to blue chip international clients.
During my time I trained several consultants that went on to open their own successful recruitment companies, some of which are turning over millions per year.

I began my working career with Holiday in (Intercontinental Hotels Group).
Starting as a barman I realised early on I would not be satisfied with this career and decided I wanted to better myself.
I progressed into a supervisory role quickly and decided if I was going to move into management I would need to have a larger overall understanding of the inner workings of a hotel included hands on experience.
In light of this I decided to pick up additional shifts in other departments to increase my skills set. I then went on to secure positions as restaurant supervisor, conference and banqueting supervisor, receptionist, night porter and for a period in the conference sales and events department.
I applied for a position of operations manager in 2005 before tragically the Hotel was struck by lightning and being a timber framed building burned to the ground. Following this myself and a number of other staff were seconded to other southern cluster hotels before eventually being made redundant.

Outside of my normal daily working life I currently run workshops and classes for those looking to start a career in sales. I also coach those currently in sales positions that are looking to improve their activity. I have delivered classes/ courses that have enabled those without experience and those with experience to increase their earnings and potential dramatically in what is a relatively short period of time.
