About Callum
I am a PGCE graduate, completing the course at 'Outstanding' level for Primary Education with Special Educational Needs specialism.
Throughout my training I have become well-versed in all aspects of the primary school curriculum, having taught every subject to full classes of 30 or more students, smaller groups, individual children and in special educational needs classrooms.
Furthermore, throughout the past year, I have been tutoring small groups of children twice a week. Focussing on preparing them for their 11+, I was responsible for children aged 7-11, teaching in a small group environment. Specialising in teaching English, Maths, and Science, with extra specialist training in exam preparation in order to ensure the children achieved their best.
I'm an incredibly motivated, hard-working and enthusiastic teacher. I'm willing to do whatever is required to ensure the success of those I teach, whilst making the learning as enjoyable and engaging as possible.

I'm a big believer in making the learning as exciting and engaging as possible. Children learn best when they are interested and enjoying their learning. To ensure this, I use a wide range of resources and methods to explain concepts, making it as easy to understand as possible. Everyone learns differently, I consider it crucial that I identify the way in which a child learns and adapt my teaching to suit them, ensuring their success.
