About Eve
Hello,
I am Eve and I am a swimming instructor with 7 years of experience teaching those with special needs, young children and adults. I have been teaching my 2-year old how to swim since the age of 3-months and he is very confident in the water, swimming independently with a life-vest.
I was a swimmer for the Coventry City Swimming Club for 10 years, before leaving and becoming a national discus thrower. Since leaving swimming, I have continued and qualified as a level 2 swimming instructor, teaching over 300 swimmers since.
I love watching swimmers develop the knowledge & skills in becoming great swimmers. My methodology is fun, interactive whilst focusing on developing good technique and I have a hands on teaching technique.

I have been a qualified level 2 swimming instructor for 7 years, teaching young children (ages 2 and above) as well as adults how to swim.
I currently teach 60 swimmers (groups of 5-6 swimmers) how to swim, and all have seen great progress within a couple of months of lessons. My classes are aimed at different age categories (from 2-years to 15 years). I recommend lessons no longer than 30-minutes due to fatigue. The first lesson will be based on seeing their ability.
I also have previous experience teaching young children with ADHD & ASD. I am currently teaching a student with high ASD & ADHD and they have improved very well over the past 4-months.
My lessons focus on technique and building endurance. With toddlers/beginner swimmers, they will be provided 2 arm bands for each arm. For this who are slightly more confident and depending on their ability, they will either have 1 arm band each arm or none. I also use noodles to support leg kick and/or kick boards.
