I always adapt my teaching method to my students' needs and experience. I am used to teaching all ages, from young kids to adults. Music theory is such a vast field, and I want to expand my students knowledge, while making sure they find the experience rewarding.
Regarding composition, it's very important for me to unlock the student's potential without forcing them to write music the way I do. I do this by giving them the tools to analyse and understand critically their own work, and tips to avoid common struggles such as writer's block.
Here are some of the subjects I teach. Most of them can seem daunting, but they are all a lot of fun when approached the right way!
Arranging (all styles)
Non tonal systems
I am a composer and conductor from Switzerland. I graduated Summa Cum Laude in Film Scoring and Composition from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in 2017. I am highly trained in both classical and jazz theory and have experience in writing in most styles through my arranging, concert music, and film scoring work. I also regularly work as an orchestrator for other composers in the film industry.
