Personal Statement
A conscientious and hard-working student looking for a part time job to gain some working experience alongside my studies. Studying my A-Levels has helped me to gain excellent analytical and leadership skills, these will aid me when working within a team. I am also a capable independent learner who ensures all tasks are completed to a high standard and within the set deadline.
Education
Caludon Castle (2012-present)
GCSE’s:
English Literature- 8, English Language- 6, Mathematics- 7, Science- A, Additional Science- B, History- A*, Sociology- A*, Religious Studies- A*, Spanish- B
AS Results:
Philosophy- A, Economics- B, History- B
Employment Experience
I have previous experience working as a Checkout Assistant at Tesco on a seasonal basis between November 2017- January 2018. This role allowed me to enhance my customer service skills as I was dealing with a constant flow of new faces. This also helped to improve my ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst ensuring that all tasks are done diligently.
In addition, I also completed work experience at Unite the Union where I performed tasks such as administration, phoning members and sitting in on meeting on various issues. As well as writing an article to be published on various associated sites. This allowed me to gain more experience of a professional workplace environment and also help me to adapt to new scenarios each day and perform new tasks and gain new skills on the job.
Additional Skills and Interests
I have played football for the past 8 years, as well as being active within local politics which has again improved my personal skills as I have dealt with all different members of the community and dealt with various issues. Throughout my education I have always had an exemplary punctuality and attendance record, as well as showing leadership skills on various occasions such as through my role as an economics ambassador.
