About Paul
I am a 23 year old working at a large financial firm. I have worked as a tutor since the age of 16, first for friends and family, and then in a more professional capacity. I worked many different odd jobs (building websites, or working minimum wage) before starting as a part time research assistant in cybersecurity at my university. I then did an internship at JPMorgan, followed by Goldman Sachs, and then worked 1 year part time as a lead programmer at the university software service. I started at a large financial firm in 2024. All throughout my education/career, I have always tutored- I love it and it's given me a lot of fulfilment to help people grow! During my childhood, I studied at an English school in France where I did my A levels. I speak fluent English and French without an accent. I love to travel, read, and code! I am quite social, but also serious about the outcome of my work, whether it be at my full time job or as a tutor.

With so much pressure on students to get internships, jobs, or work on personal projects, finding what is important for your career can be overwhelming. There is so much content online advocating different things- sometimes contradicting itself, or haphazardly structured, or straight up wrong. Having been through the process myself and completed internships at large financial institutions such as JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs, I can explain to you, in a structured and detailed way, what is important to build your professional profile. This goes beyond typical CV advice or simple "tips and tricks". Instead, it provides a comprehensive and concrete knowledge base on what to apply for, where to find these jobs, when to submit applications, what projects to complete, who to connect with, and how to stand out in the hiring process. If you tutor with me, I guarantee that you will gain a solid understanding of the job market for new computer science and finance graduates, emerging as a strong candidate in a competitive crowd. This tutoring is for anyone- whether you're finishing A-levels, in the early years of your degree, nearing graduation, just starting your career, or considering a career switch; I believe I can offer you insight that you can't easily find online.

Paul is a great person to improve one's programming skills with. He explains everything well and helped me understand Python when I needed it for one of my courses at the University. He's patient and makes sure you feel confident about your skills. I'd highly recommend him as a tutor :).
Paul was my classmate in 6th form. We were doing maths together and he was a great help to me in that class. He has a way of explaining complex subjects in a simple manner.
Paul is a wonderful person to interact with and his knowledge of computer science is impeccable. Learning from him would be a fun and enriching experience!
I've worked with Paul in the past when he proved to be a very knowledgeable software engineer in the group. He's prompt, empathetic and a would be an excellent tutor!
