About Paul
My name is Paul and I have many years of teaching experience at university level, both in the UK and in the country of Georgia, where I was formerly an expat. My experience includes teaching the Python, Java and C++ programming languages (object oriented programming), as well as website design/development and cloud computing using Linux and AWS (Amazon Web Services), along with Laravel (back-end web framework) and the Qt6/PySide6 Graphical User Interface (Python and C++) with OpenUSD (3D graphics). I can offer personalised and well researched lessons to help you achieve your goals, either from the absolute beginner level, or up to the most advanced levels in the subject areas in which I have expertise! I have over 20 years of general teaching experience and over the years have taught many foreign students from all over the world. Consequently, I am well accustomed to speaking slowly and clearly, so that students can better understand the topic. I am a proponent of progressive education and especially learning by doing, in a step by step way, as well as conveying the necessary theoretical background in incremental levels of complexity, where each level is presented in as straightforward way as possible!
