About Paula
As a Computer Science tutor with over 6 years of experience, I have successfully supported students studying GCSE, A-Level, and University courses in achieving their academic and programming goals. I am passionate about helping learners understand technology through clear explanations, practical coding exercises, and personalised guidance.
I teach a variety of subjects including Python, JavaScript, Java, databases, algorithms, software engineering, and web development. My lessons are designed to improve coding ability, logical reasoning, debugging skills, and confidence in solving technical problems independently.
Over the years, I have worked with students from diverse educational backgrounds, providing support with assignments, revision strategies, programming projects, and examination preparation. I create tailored lesson plans that focus on each student’s learning style, academic requirements, and long-term objectives.
My teaching approach is friendly, organised, and interactive. I believe students learn best when lessons are engaging, encouraging, and adapted to their pace of learning. I motivate students to ask questions, practise consistently, and apply their knowledge through hands-on coding activities.

My Computer Science lessons are designed to create a strong foundation in programming while helping students achieve excellent academic results. I teach GCSE, A-Level, and University learners using a personalised approach that focuses on both theoretical understanding and practical coding experience.
Lessons cover important topics such as Python, JavaScript, Java, databases, algorithms, computational thinking, software development, and web programming. I explain complex concepts in a clear and straightforward manner, helping students develop confidence in writing, testing, and improving code independently.
Each session includes interactive activities, guided coding tasks, and problem-solving exercises to strengthen technical ability and logical reasoning. I also assist students with coursework, exam preparation, project development, debugging challenges, and revision techniques tailored to their course requirements.
My teaching approach is supportive, organised, and adaptable to different learning styles. I encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and build practical experience through continuous practice and constructive feedback.
