About David
I am a qualified teacher with experience in delivering IT, computing and Computer Science lessons for BTEC Nationals extended certificate, OCR GCSE 9-1 and computer fundamentals, including internet safety in schools to students aged 7 up to 17 (year 5 to 6th form) I have a Degree in Education and Professional Training, and I am aiming to start my Master's degree in Advanced Computer Science at the University of Leicester. My experience includes working in the IT industry and as a network engineer prior to teaching, I deliver hands-on practical lessons including presentations person to person or online via webcam.

A qualified teacher and a Microsoft Certified Professional with several years’ experience teaching in secondary state and private schools I would like to offer my services to teach those in need of further tuition of my specialist subject of Information Technology Computing and Computer Science OCR GCSE 9-1, BTEC Nationals Extended Certificate Levels 1, 2 & 3. Cambridge National Level 1 & 2 in Information Technology (IT). Learn how to use Office applications (Microsoft or Open Office), and other application software. I have a Degree in Education and Professional Training. I would deliver lessons at your home, or online remote lessons. I am approachable and adaptable being able to teach individuals one to one or classes of students, my lessons are structured to give theory and practical approaches to computing in subjects within the vast Information Technology spectrum, from Binary to databases. As a tutor, my methodology is to start at the beginning of the subject area that my student wishes to study and progress through units at their pace, checking back on understanding at regular stages with formative and summative assessments, including practical assessments. My aim is to deliver enough information to enable my students to understand the subject material to confidently pass examinations.
