About Jiad
Hi there! My name is Jiad, and I’m a Senior Network Engineer with over 8 years of experience in the tech industry. I hold a degree in Computing and beyond my professional work, I have a deep passion for sharing knowledge and helping others grow in their technical journey. I want to teach because I believe that learning is a collaborative and transformative process. During my career, I’ve had the privilege of mentoring many students and junior colleagues, and seeing them develop their skills and achieve their goals has been incredibly rewarding. I understand the challenges that learners face when tackling complex subjects like networking and computing, and I’m here to make that journey easier, clearer, and more engaging.

Techniques and Teaching Methodology: My tutoring approach is student-centred and adaptive, focusing on each learner’s unique needs and learning style. I begin by assessing the student’s current knowledge and identifying areas that need improvement. My methodology combines a balance of theory with hands-on practice, using real-world examples to make complex concepts easier to understand. I also encourage interactive discussions and problem-solving exercises to build confidence and deepen understanding. For technical subjects like networking, I often incorporate simulations, case studies, and practical projects to reinforce learning. Typical Length of a Lesson: Each lesson typically lasts 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the student’s needs and concentration levels. I find this duration effective for maintaining engagement while allowing enough time to cover key concepts and answer questions in depth. Qualifications and Experience as a Tutor: I hold a degree in Computing and have 8 years of industry experience as a Senior Network Engineer. Over the years, I have mentored numerous students and junior colleagues, helping them develop both technical expertise and problem-solving skills. My background combines deep technical knowledge with hands-on experience, which enables me to provide practical insights and guidance. Who the Lessons Are For: My lessons are suitable for: • College/sixth form students studying computing, networking, or related fields. • High school students with an interest in IT or preparing for GCSE exams. • Beginners with a passion for technology who want to build a solid foundation in networking. I tailor each lesson to the student’s level, ensuring the content is both accessible and challenging, fostering growth and mastery.
