About Rachael
I have been giving lessons for a year, and although that is fairly recent, I started immediately after shadowing my Flute Teacher so everything I learnt was still fresh.
I teach in the same way that I was taught, to avoid any bad habits or bad teaching on my part.
I have taught over ten in total, due to moving back home last month I currently only teach one.
When shadowing my teacher, the technique and recording I gave to the students, were still being used two months later when she gave me a feedback sheet.
I have a second upper class degree in music performance

I teach from beginners to advanced, those who are serious and those who want fun!
Along with making sure the student is benefiting from playing and performing, I make sure that their capability of music theory is level so they are able to tackle any piece of music.
I use the current ABRSM syllabus, so the students can have the option of sitting any grades and within that, they also have the freedom of selecting which pieces they want to work on.
I have a collection of duets including chart toppers, classical and Disney so the student will always be able to fun in playing alongside me.
I have a second upper class degree in music performance!
