About Annesley
I have been playing guitar for 40 years and given many live concerts during the years. Building the confidence to go on stage, under the lights and heat, takes endless practice, but there is nothing better in life. I have been lucky to find incredible musicians during my time.

The guitar is the most flexible instrument I know of. In the right hands it can almost state your very feelings and mood. There are endless slurs, dampening effects, and crazy little tricks to express yourself. And show off :D But guitar lessons can also produce very empty standardised precision playing that lacks any individual style and soul. Yes, we gain skills, using learning techniques, but not at the cost of who you are.
