About Nico
I am a dedicated violin tutor with 6 years of teaching experience, working with students from school level to working professionals. Teaching music is my passion, and I enjoy helping students discover their potential. My teaching philosophy is based on patience, understanding, and consistent practice.
I believe that anyone can learn violin with the right guidance and effort. I focus on building a strong foundation by teaching basics such as posture, bow control, rhythm, and note reading. I then guide students towards advanced techniques and musical expression.
I also provide regular feedback and practice support to help students improve continuously. I have successfully trained over 150 students, many of whom have improved their confidence and performance skills. I create a friendly and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable. My goal is to make violin learning a fulfilling and enjoyable journey.

My teaching methodology focuses on clarity, consistency, and practical understanding of music. I use simple examples and real-life situations to explain violin concepts so students can connect learning with real playing. I emphasise strong basics like posture, bow control, finger placement, and scales to build a solid foundation.
I follow a structured approach and guide students step by step, ensuring they gain confidence at each level. I also adjust my teaching methods based on each student’s progress.
Communication is an important part of my classes, and I encourage students to share their doubts openly. I provide regular feedback and continuous support. I follow integrity by being honest, responsible, and committed. Along with violin, I also teach music theory, ear training, rhythm exercises, and performance skills.
