My lessons are catered to my students. My first goal is to understand my students' goals, preferences, and level of understanding. Starting from there, I plan to work with my students to develop a plan that works for them and doesn't bore them. Methodologies I have noticed that tend to be the most engaging for students are active recall from their last session, conversational learning, and always paraphrasing to break down more complex words. What sets me apart as a tutor is the degree that I'm currently seeking. I'm constantly learning new things whether I want to or not as a Biology Student with a Psychology Minor which gives me more leeway in regard to diverse conversational learning.
