You will receive free bowing and posture reference notes after each lesson to keep your practice focused at home. These materials provide a visual guide for the concepts we explore together. Graduating with a BMus from the UBC School of Music established the rigorous foundation I use to support your growth. I have spent 13 years refining a methodology that balances technical precision with expressive clarity. You will find my approach is structured to handle the demands of formal examinations.
I teach students ranging from kids to advanced learners. My 13 years in the studio mean I have seen nearly every technical roadblock a violinist can face. I have taught countless students how to navigate the complexities of posture and hold. Left hand agility and shifting positions are core components of my instruction.
