About Lisa

As a conservatoire student with over 8 years of performance experience, I aim to provide supportive, high-quality instruction tailored to each student’s goals. Having spent years refining my own technique and performing in various competitive and concert settings, I understand both the challenges and the joy of learning the recorder. Whether you are preparing for exams, learning new repertoire, or simply playing for fun, I offer structured, patient, and reliable guidance to help you build solid technical foundations and feel confident in your playing.

About the lesson

Hi! I’m a conservatoire student with over 8 years of experience playing and performing on the recorder, including success in national and international competitions. I offer tailored lessons online or in person around Central London for students of all ages and skill levels.

My teaching style is flexible, balancing solid technical foundations—breath control, posture, and tone—with confidence, musicality, and stage presence. We can explore a wide range of music, from the essential Baroque repertoire to modern pop. Having taught students of various levels, I adapt my lessons to your individual goals and pace.

I offer flexible lesson durations of 30, 45, or 60 minutes depending on your needs.

Feel free to get in touch to set up your first lesson!
