About Philippe
I have experience teaching ESL students from basic to advanced levels. I also offer classes to students who are going to write IELTS or TOEFL. My teaching method consists in a complete immersion experience where the student will start doing most daily activities in English. I am an American citizen and I lived in Canada for over 10 years, where I attended high school and university. I graduated from University of Toronto and have been teaching English to people of all levels and ages for over 7 years. I offer advice to those who wish to exchange in Canada or the United States.

My teaching method boils down to improving my students' English skills in a practical and quick way. I work with all skills: Speaking, writing, listening and reading, giving full support to the student to acquire learning autonomy. During class, communication between student and teacher is exclusively in English. During classes there are a series of activities to better assimilate the contents, which optimizes the time and performance of the class. These classes also have an emphasis on those who wish to prepare for a possible exchange.

Certamente, ele falou mais inglês do que português na vida dele porque morou por muito tempo nos países falantes da língua. Já o ouvi usar do inglês quando requisitado e me espantei com sua fluidez e naturalidade ao pronunciar as palavras.
