I have learned from my own personal experiences with private instruction that the best teachers are those that recognize that they are also always learning. For me the true beauty of being a teacher is what is exchanged for both parties involved. I pride myself on having strong leadership skills and the ability to direct learning in the most efficient way possible.

My teaching revolves around the intersection of technical voice knowledge and the importance of grounding & self care in relation to singing. Our bodies are our instrument and there's a certain level of care that is required for truly fantastic singing. This, I believe, is what sets our skill apart from that of any other instrument.
A typical lesson plan would include:
-Grounding/Meditative exercises at the start and finish of the session
-Vocal warm up exercises that prepare the full voice for technical work
-Technical instruction on the student's chosen repertoire/coaching to prepare for performances, prepare for auditions, or for the student's personal interest!
