About Austin
Serious language learners often struggle with the awkwardness of speaking to a stranger. Truth be told, I find that beginners are often more capable than they initially believe.
My BMus from Curtis Institute of Music gave me the discipline to handle complex systems, which I now apply to teaching interview preparation and travel French. I have worked with many students over 6 years to refine accent and intonation while building conversational fluency. I emphasize active production over passive memorization for all my students. Homework vocal drills are not the focus here, but rather consistent review of our dialogue. Your goal is to reach a 9.0 fluency standard with me.
