I am a very experienced cook/cookery tutor and offer lessons to students who would enjoy learning to cook; from basics, such as making a lasagne (cheese sauce, Bolognese sauce, cooking with pasta)
or more advanced cookery such as on trend dinner party menus and ideas / pattisserie and special cakes/ bread making
I also give tips on food hygene, nutrition and special diets, e.g. gluten /dairy free cookery
The lessons are informal and fun, and the students will take their cooked creations home with them!
I can tailor the lessons to the students' requirements and can travel to their own kitchen to teach them there if it is not too far away. I can teach up to 2 students here at my home per lesson, which may suit 2 friends.

Course setup
I trained at Tante Marie, Woking, which is a branch of the Cordon Bleu School, I then went on to cook as a chef in restaurants in Bath for many years, including Woods Restaurant, Popjoys and the Theatre Royal, where I cooked and made birthday cakes for visiting actors, including Glenda Jackson and Donald Sinden.
I went on to take a teaching course at the local college and ran an after school cookery club at Prior Park school, Bath. I have taught a number of private cookery courses over the years in peoples own kitchens, including courses for Au pairs, and ran a day course for nannies at St Marks' school, Bath
For the last few years I have been teaching a local man how to cook for his family, as his wife runs her win business.
