About Lee
My name is Lee Dartnell. I am a costume maker, specialising in dyeing, breaking down, and armour, with a focus on natural dyeing and historical methods for creating armour from fabric, leather, plate metal, and chainmail. I have a wide range of experience in various costuming roles across theatre and film, including as a costume supervisor. I have just graduated from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School with a BA in costume.

Standard lesson, two hours in length, £24 per hour.
Can cover everything from pattern drafting to surface decoration and film-standard special effects, depending on what is required for a project.
My complete list of skills consists of: Dyeing and breaking down costumes, costume construction, leatherwork, chainmail making, natural dyeing, armour making, costume props, tailoring, pattern drafting, basic SFX effects, millinery, spinning and weaving, research and design.
