About Laura
I am a creative and bubbly individual with a love of learning. I make sure that I learn something new every day as I believe knowledge is power! In my spare time, I enjoy music. I have completed all grades of piano and I teach it from time to time. I also play acoustic and electric guitar. I adore the arts - films, books, art and culture. I love travelling the world and trying new food.
I have a pet tortoise named Nugget (after chicken nuggets). And no I didn’t name him, it was my little brother. I have many younger brothers with whom I play video games with.
I play tennis, swim, cycling, running and I love the gym.
I read a lot of books and dabble in creative writing.
I love languages and I am always learning more.
I am a BA Hons graduate in Classics and Archaeology. I am finishing my Masters Degree in Global Media and Communications.

I always ensure that students are engaged with the content I provide. I provide relevant resources to meet the curriculum requirements. I send online resources such as worksheets, videos and quizzes for students to follow up on. Each lesson is taught with accuracy and relevant subject knowledge. I provide detailed feedback of each lesson and highlight areas of improvement. I make sure to stay inclusive and consistent throughout each session. It’s never a dull lesson!
