About Cara
Although I have a background in script writing and film, I have also been teaching for almost 9 years, with experience ranging in primary schools overseas to accredited universities here in the United States. My day job is as an ESL teacher at a film school where I teach core classes in writing, reading speaking, and listening. I also develop curriculum in creative writing workshops and American culture.

I base my lessons on expressive and communicative learning, as I believe this is the best way to learn a new language. While critical thinking and writing is as equally important, the basis of fluidity in a language is being able to keep up with fast-paced conversations and real-time understanding.
