I am an extremely friendly person with comprehensive experience in the music field. I am available to teach 1hr lessons from beginner to intermediate level and all ages in person (South London) or online. Teaching technique and methodology will vary depending on the student's level and wanted outcomes - all of which will be discussed in the first lesson.
I started taking piano, organ and music theory lessons in Italy when I was 4 years old and subsequently enrolled in a conservatoire where I developed my compositional, theoretical, and performance skills. I performed in various European cities including Palencia (Spain), where I participated and won the
Organissimo 2004 international competition (Junior). In 2015, I moved to the U.K. to begin my A-levels, where I chose to study Music Technology. This sparked my enthusiasm for film and video game music composition as well as music production, resulting in the choice of undertaking a degree in Creative Music Technology at the University of Surrey. I have just graduated with a 1st class degree. I have gained practice as a composer by working on numerous projects from a variety of disciplines, including game company Legendary Games. I also interned for composers such as Lorne Balfe (His Dark Materials, The Crown) and Daryl Griffith (orchestrator for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince).
Throughout my undergraduate, my enthusiasm for research grew to such an extent that I decided to apply for a PhD. I am very excited to be starting my PhD in Artificial Intelligence and Music at Queen Mary University of London in September.
I teach piano, music theory, music technology and composition up to A-Levels. Piano lesson involve learning both technique and performance skills, while music theory and composition lesson involve learning about and practicing different topics and methods. I perform and teach a range of genres, mainly classical and pop. Although I have been classically trained, I specialise in and enjoy film music composition, including unusual compositional methods, and computer-aided composition.
