About Emmanuel
I am ikoromasoma, Emmanuel. I graduated from Rivers State University with First Class Honours from the department of Office and Information Management. I am a masters degree holder with a distinction, PhD (in view) in Strategic Administration. I am a lecturer in the department of Office and Information Management, Rivers State University. Other than Shorthand, I can teach basic Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.
I have zeal for impacting knowledge and I have always strived towards acquiring it. There is no greater joy seeing people succeed because you touched their lives through teaching. As such, I want to teach because I have passion for it and I just don't believe, I know I a good society is dependent on teachers and I want to contribute in building a good society by teaching.

Nothing is too difficult to learn and nothing is too easy to learn. People learn things because they have interest in it. As such, in teaching, catching the interest of the students come first and this is dependent on your methods, approaches and techniques. And these extraordinary techniques is what am bringing to the table.
My personal view about teaching goes beyound grades but securing understanding along side the grades. People often get scared of shorthand and get to question why they even learn it considering it is old. This is because of the approaches and methods used by teachers. Shorthand is a skill and can be acquired and it is still relevant.
I will be bringing a different approach opposed to the traditional one. I will be x-raying English phonetics and Pitman sounds by drawing a link and the difference between them. This will trigger understanding and the interest of students will be secured. As such, their focus will not just be on the grades but acquiring a skill as well.
