About Dami
Teaching Spanish has been my passion for the last 13+ years. During this time, I have worked with High School and College students who wanted to improve their language skills for academic success, personal growth, and future opportunities. I believe personalised learning is the foundation of effective teaching because every student learns in a different way.
My classes focus on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, speaking, listening, and conversation. I use simple explanations, engaging discussions, practical examples, and interactive exercises that help students understand concepts while enjoying the learning process. My lessons encourage curiosity, communication, and consistent practice.
One of my greatest strengths is recognising each student's individual learning needs and adapting my teaching accordingly. Whether students need additional grammar support or extra speaking practice, I create lessons that help them progress with confidence. I regularly monitor development and provide constructive feedback that supports continuous improvement.
I also introduce students to the rich culture of Spanish-speaking countries by exploring traditions, celebrations, food, music, and everyday communication. This makes learning more interesting while helping students develop a natural understanding of the language.
My commitment to personalised learning ensures every student receives the attention, guidance, and encouragement they deserve. My goal is to help learners become confident, motivated, and successful Spanish speakers who enjoy using the language throughout their academic and personal lives.

I use a student-focused methodology for teaching Spanish that emphasises motivation, communication, creativity, and proper time management. I motivate students by creating a positive and encouraging environment, understanding their goals, and celebrating achievements to maintain engagement and confidence.
Communication is central; I help students develop speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in practical and real-life contexts. Creativity is incorporated through storytelling, role-plays, games, and visual aids to make lessons interactive, fun, and memorable. Time management ensures lessons are structured and productive, covering grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversation practice efficiently.
I also guide students on organising their own study and practice time outside class for steady improvement. Along with Spanish, I can teach related subjects such as grammar, pronunciation, and learning strategies. My aim is to provide a structured, enjoyable, and effective learning experience.
