About Nira
I am a dedicated violin tutor with 10+ years of teaching experience, having taught around 300 students from beginner to intermediate levels, including high school students, college learners, and adults. My teaching philosophy is based on clear communication, patience, and consistency, as I believe these are the key factors for successful learning.
I focus on building strong basics such as posture, finger placement, bow control, and sound clarity. I make sure to explain each concept in a simple and understandable way so students can apply it during their practice.
I also include exercises and songs that keep lessons engaging and interesting. One of my key achievements is helping students gain confidence and perform without hesitation. My goal is to create a supportive and motivating learning environment.

I follow a student-focused approach to teaching violin that prioritizes communication, adaptability, and meaningful practice. I observe each student’s abilities and learning style to tailor lessons to their pace and goals. I cover posture, bowing, fingering, tone production, intonation, phrasing, and expressive playing while fostering creativity and interpretation.
Real-life examples, including performing favorite pieces, practicing with recordings, and preparing for recitals, make lessons practical and engaging. I also include related subjects such as music theory, rhythm exercises, ear training, sight-reading, and basic piano skills to provide a comprehensive musical education. My goal is to foster confidence, skill, and a lifelong love for music.
