About Cleo
I am a passionate violin tutor with 12 years of teaching experience working with school students, college students, and working professionals. Throughout my career, I have enjoyed helping learners from different backgrounds discover their musical potential and develop confidence through violin education.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, encouragement, and personalised learning. I believe that every student learns at a different pace, so I create lessons that suit individual goals and abilities. I focus on building a strong foundation while making lessons enjoyable and inspiring.
Over the years, I have successfully guided many students in improving their technique, musical expression, and performance confidence. One of my proudest achievements has been helping students progress from beginners to confident musicians who truly enjoy playing the violin.
I strive to create a positive learning environment where students feel supported and motivated. My goal is to inspire a lifelong love for music and help every student achieve success.

My approach to teaching combines compassion, communication, and encouragement. I believe students learn best when they feel supported and respected. Therefore, I create lessons that are enjoyable, interactive, and tailored to individual learning needs.
For violin lessons, I focus on technical accuracy, tone quality, rhythm, and musical interpretation. I explain concepts clearly and use demonstrations to help students understand difficult topics with confidence.
I maintain open communication and provide personalised guidance to help students overcome challenges. I celebrate progress and encourage students to remain patient and committed to their goals.
Besides violin, I can teach related subjects such as music theory, sight reading, ear training, and basic performance skills. These subjects strengthen students' overall musicianship.
My mission is to help students develop confidence and a lasting appreciation for music.
