About Liva
With 10+ years of experience as a violin tutor, I have successfully guided around 300 students, including high school students, college learners, and adults, helping them build both skill and confidence in music. My teaching approach is simple, structured, and student-focused, allowing each learner to progress at their own pace.
I focus on important techniques such as posture, bowing, rhythm, intonation, and tone production, ensuring a strong foundation. I break down lessons into easy steps so students can learn without confusion.
I also guide students on effective practice methods that support steady improvement. One of my proud achievements is helping students perform confidently and develop a genuine interest in violin. My aim is to make learning both enjoyable and meaningful.

My teaching approach for violin focuses on clear communication, strong basics, and practical learning. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to suit each learner’s style, pace, and goals. I use simple explanations, demonstrations, and regular feedback to help students understand posture, bowing, fingering, and tone production.
I also connect violin learning with music theory, ear training, and rhythm practice so students develop complete musical skills. Real-life examples, such as performing simple songs, playing along with recordings, and understanding stage performance, help students build confidence.
I also include related subjects like basic piano for pitch understanding and music reading skills to improve overall musicianship. My goal is to make learning violin enjoyable, structured, and meaningful so students stay motivated and see steady progress.
