While teaching I like to set individual goals for each of my students, which are achievable yet challenging and motivating. In my opinion every student has different learning abilities, so finding the best way to make the lessons enjoyable is crucial. I mainly focus on vocabulary and making conveying the message as easy a possible, while also improving certain grammatical skills.
I am a university student taking a Creative Writing and English literature major and while teaching I'd want to make my students achieve a greater understanding of the language and convey parts of my cultural and literary knowledge, in order to help them to find their path.
I’m a first year Creative Writing and English Literature student at London Metropolitan University. During my studies I have developed excellent analytical skills, a methodology based research system and the way to observe various topics from different angles. I’m a hard-working individual, who wants to develop interpersonal skill, by gaining experience in the job market. I have a wide range of skills regarding different work environments, which I achieved by working on various fields in the past.
I have previous experiences in a variety of jobs ranging in a number of different fields including;
I used to translate contracts for a lawyer’s office and literary texts in my hometown in Hungary. Mostly from Hungarian to German and English.
I also worked as an interpreter at various festivals in Budapest, Hungary, where I helped the work of security guards and the police. While doing my job I realised the importance of team-work and I learned how to work under pressure. I had to work 12-16 hours a day, at night on some days, which was incredibly stressful, but these experiences allowed me to develop a deeper understanding of people and work ethics.
While I was in high-school I also did retail services by working for my family’s agricultural company, by selling goods at the local facilities .
Previously I worked in a museum, Nádor Gallery, in Pécs, Hungary, where I lead guided tours about World War II and Malenkij Robot in German, English and Hungarian.
I also volunteered at an animal shelter, where I worked with a variety of animals, such as cows, pigs, poultries, rescued dogs and cats.

In the Hungarian Education system i graduated from a German-Hungarian bilingual high-school, which my grades were;
History (Higher Level): B
English (HL): A
German Literature (HL): A
Hungarian Grammar and Literature (Standard Level): A
Mathematics (SL): C
I also took a Cambridge Proficiency Exam (Level C2) and a DSD type German language exam (C1) successfully during my high-school studies.
Persistence and reliability is also really important to me, I’m always open-minded and ready to acquire new skills.
I want to learn as much as possible, since it’s a different kind of job from my previous experiences, but I strive to accomplish all my tasks to the fullest.
I also speak 4 languages, so I can easily communicate with tourists/non-native speakers.
Hobbies and Interests
I’m interested in all kinds of artistic activities, such as painting, design, literature and theatre. In my extracurricular time I often visit museums and galleries and I used to perform in theatre both in German and Hungarian, while I was studying in high-school.
Learning foreign languages is also part of my main interests. I learned Hungarian and German at about the same time, then I started studying English and later French. I’m still interested in learning Italian and Dutch.
