About Georgie
I recently achieved first-class honours in Criminology from the University of Southampton. Currently, I'm undertaking an MA in Political Psychology at Bournemouth University. Both these subjects are interdisciplinary drawing heavily on psychological and sociological theories. My specific area of interest has been how criminal activity and the varying dimensions within politics intersect. In my spare time, I like to read and craft. I'm also apart of a local field hockey team, which is great for maintaining my fitness and provides a great opportunity for socialisation.
I believe learning is done best through discussion. This method promotes problem-solving and in the process facilitates student confidence. Confidence is equally as important as subject knowledge when undertaking exams. This method of teaching is highly adaptable to students' needs.

Students undertaking both GCSE and A-Level welcome!
After an initial discussion, I am able to tailor the tutorial structure to the needs of individual students, ensuring they gain the most from our session.
Each week will include a one-hour long session, within which we will meet (online) and focus on strengthening skills such as exam technique and knowledge. Students will also be provided with a take-home task (maximum of an hour of work). This will help to consolidate that week's learning and test the student's understanding.
