About Alexis
As a sociologist, I have always had a strong interest in humans, and how their personal stories intertwine with the history and structure of a group.
As time went by, my focus shifted from understanding people to showing compassion to them. This requires much more involvement! In daily life, I practise the simple joy of being alive.
As for teaching, I have been teaching French online since 2015. It's been extremely rewarding to watch the students grow from a beginner to an advanced level.

As a personal tutor, I have experience in teaching French online. This is a cosy way to learn.
After the first lesson, I share a OneNote notebook with you (no Microsoft account required). This notebook stores the content of our lessons, and allows for real time editing on both sides.
The first lesson serves the purpose of getting to know each other. You are strongly encouraged to interact in French as much as you can! But English remains a safety net.
With beginners, I recommend using the series "Grammaire progressive du français". This is a wonderful study tool, which we can complement with other activities, such as reading short articles.
With advanced learners, the course track is customized.
Whether your goal is to pass an exam at the university, chat with friends and family members or interact with colleagues, I stand at your side.
