About Oscar
My name is Oscar, I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Birmingham, I was pleased to receive an unconditional offer. Previously I was also fortunate enough to receive a Grammar School education for both my GCSE's and A Levels.
Having access to this level of prestige in my schooling helped me to understand the value of self-confidence in an academic and intellectual context. It also meant that I had access to excellent teachers, sculpting my understanding of what a good tutor must look like.

I believe that individual thinking is the basis of academic success. Lecturing is simply a precursor to the the thinking you would do as an individual, it is within this thought process that originality and intuitiveness are born. To be able to gain confidence in ones intellectual ability irrespective of academic support systems is crucial and will lead to a more bold and self fulfilling approach to studying.
A typical lesson might range from 45 minutes to an hour, minimum. Depending on the material, it is possible that longer sessions would be more beneficial.
I have previously tutored 'High School' students in the U.S. these students came to the sessions from a position of educational disadvantage. This lead to a more challenging scenario which helped redefine education for me as an individual.
My lessons are for anybody of any age or level, ultimately I am here to help and sessions must be tailored towards specific goals that you might have.
