About Tom
I am currently studying English Literature at one of the highest-ranked Universities in the UK, which was named 'University of the Year' by the Sunday Times last year, above Cambridge and Oxford.
I took both English Language and English Literature at GCSE and A-level, achieving As in both at A-level, and am familiar with the rubric for a range of GCSE exam boards and what is expected in Language and/or Literature exams.

Hi! I'm Tom, I'm an English Literature student currently studying at Durham University, and am offering my services as a GCSE English tutor, for any UK exam board.
I am happy to work around your schedule, though I would typically recommend lessons at around an hour, once or twice per week.
I can also work around you/your child's strengths and weaknesses as a student, offering an initial 'get to know you' session where we discuss what is needed from the tutoring. I can then offer support by providing practice exam questions, talking through exam answers, and helping with general revision and understanding of assigned texts.
