About Macy
I am a current sophomore at George Washington University studying journalism and have been professionally freelancing for 5 years now. Although I am new to the tutoring world, I've been pouring my love for writing on younger kids for 6+ years now while babysitting and as a camp counselor. Because of these job titles, I have found exciting, innovative ways to help kids learn, even though it may not feel like they're doing just that!

As a person who loves to read and write myself, I think that it should be fun, and that is my main objective when teaching kids. Reading and writing should not be seen as an obligatory task- but an opportunity to utilize their imagination. I love to bring in sports, art, and the children's interests to create an enjoyable learning environment. My tutoring services are best for children under high school age.
